VITAL NETWORK SERVICES RELOCATES NORTH AMERICAN OPERATIONS TO TAMPA, FLORIDA

TAMPA, Florida -- November 18, 2002 -- VITAL Network Services Inc., a multivendor provider of worldwide network lifecycle services, today announced that it has relocated its North American operations from Naugatuck, Connecticut to Tampa, Florida. VITAL's Tampa location will now serve as the company's worldwide headquarters and North American operations center - handling worldwide business support and management activities as well as customer technical support functions for the Americas region.

VITAL will deliver around-the-clock technical support for approximately 1,600 customers in North America from the facility located at 14520 McCormick Drive in Tampa. In preparation for the relocation, VITAL has hired approximately 40 new employees from the Tampa Bay area to serve in general business or technical support and engineering functions.
